What Is Supagard? Do I Need Supagard For My New Car?

Added: 23 March 2017

You are just about to buy a new car and the sales executive asks "Do you want the Supagard treatment?", find out why you should consider getting Supagard applied to your new car.

What is Supagard?

Due to ever changing environmental demands, most new cars now have water-based paints. Water based paints are prone to fading and oxidization which can lower the value of your car if not prevented. Pollutants such as road salt, detergent, acid rain, tree sap, traffic film and UV rays can harm the lustre of your car's paintwork. To maintain the new car look, your car needs protecting.

The interior of your car is also under constant threat, from dirt and grime carried by you, your family, your friends and your pets. Imagine the feeling when someone spills food and liquid all over your new interior!

Supagard paint protection

This is the first step of Supagard, Supagard has high gloss polymer sealant bonds to your cars paint surface and protects it for a minimum of 3 years. Forget about oxidation or fading from the elements. UV rays cannot penetrate the paint sealant, a simple wash every week or fortnight is all it takes to get that fresh out of the showroom appearance. The paint sealant found in Supagard prevents acid rain and atmospheric pollution from touching the paint surface so there's no risk of your car's paint fading or oxidising. Road salt can no longer cling to the smooth paint sealant's surface. Washing off dirt and mud is so muck quicker and easier and the paint's surface is protected.

Supagard fabric protection

This is the second step of Supagard, your seats and fabric is sealed against spills and staining so you can retain maximum value if you decide to sell your car in the future. Spilled drinks have no effect as Supagard has an invisible barrier that retains the natural texture and appearance of your fabrics. Dirt, mud, spilled milk, juice and other liquids are able to be wiped away with a simple cloth and a gentle cleaning solution.

Supagard carpet protection

This is the third step of Supagard, your carpet is protected and sealed against any dirt and spills. Dirt, mud, spilled milk, juice and other liquids are able to be wiped away with a simple cloth and a gentle cleaning solution.

Supagard leather care

If your new car has a leather interior, Supagard works on leather as well as fabric. Your leather is protected and sealed against any dirt and spills. Dirt, mud, spilled milk, juice and other liquids are able to be wiped away with a simple cloth and a gentle cleaning solution.

Supagard wheel care

This is the fourth step of Supagard, if wheels are left unprotected they can deteriorate very fast. Brake dust, road salt, dirt and mud will damage the lacquer and eventually the wheel. Supagard forms a hard, protective barrier against dirt, salt and brake dust that makes cleaning so quick and easy and keeps your alloy in a like new condition as long as you don't kerb the alloys.
